There is so much to learn and understand and apply that it's very hard to remember it all and apply it in particular when one is in a heated moment. During their conversation, Heather and Dr. B talk about the iterative nature of the process and how so much is learned when people don't get it right initially and then have a do-over. They also discuss how important practice and community (with people who know the process) are to taking NVC from an intellectual process to a living process.
