When Dr. B and Heather met to record this Episode, Dr. B was going through a family health crisis - as they had just learned that her mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Given that, she was not able to think, easily, about content for the podcast. That is often the case for people in general. When we are stimulated by life's circumstances, it can be very helpful to get empathy and get more fully connected to the needs in the circumstance and, oftentimes, this will help people become more able to be present and able to function in trying circumstances. So, Dr. B and Heather decided to use this episode to give empathy to Dr. B and model what that sounds like for the listening audience. And, our listeners may be interested to know that Dr. B's mother did pass on May 5th - only a few weeks after being diagnosed with her illness.
